YPLAA is looking for nominations of exceptional under 40’s who live, work or volunteer in Androscoggin County for the following 2010 YPLAA Awards:

Entrepreneur Award – a YP who has successfully started or expanded a business in the area

Community Involvement Award – a YP who has exhibited proactive involvement in the community beyond their job duties

“Against All Odds” Award – a YP who has become a success against all odds

 The following awards are for individuals or businesses that have supported YPLAA or Young Professionals (not necessarily in the 20-40 age range):

Mentor Award – an individual who has successfully impacted a Young Professionals life to help them achieve success

Business Champion – a business that has supported YP’s in their organization to be a part of YPLAA and participate in events and other activities.

3. Increase market rate residential critical mass

underwear for boys and girls (sizes 2-4)

laminating sheets

Items can be dropped off at the Chamber anytime, or brought to the Business After Hours.

May 26 – The Advanced Facebook Session is not your father’s Facebook! It covers Facebook Business Applications for promoting, connecting, selling, and sharing; Third Party Applications & Power Tools you can add to your PC to skyrocket your efficiency and effectiveness on the Facebook platform; Facebook Markup Language for adding features and modifying the appearance and user experience of your pages; lots of Power Tips to make you a Monster Power User; and Facebook Advertising, the most laser-targeted advertising available on the internet today.

Prerequisites: Session participants should be proficient with Pages (aka Fan Pages), Profiles, Groups, Commenting, Events, Messages, Photos, Video, and Tagging

June 2 – The Twitter Advanced Session takes it to the next Twevel. It covers Strategy, Etiquette, Tweet Frequency and Content, Hashtags, Advanced Search, Short URL’s, Real time information gathering and analytics, Third Party power tools and applications to enhance your Twitter effectiveness, and plenty of power tips to make you a Twitterrific Twedi Master.

Prerequisites: Session participants should be proficient with managing and editing their Twitter profiles, Tweeting, Retweeting, Replying, Mentioning, DMing, and basic search.

June 9 – The LinkedIn Advanced Session takes you from LeftOut to LinkedIn. It covers Strategies and Techniques for effectively using Groups, Events, Answers, and Advanced Search; Profile Optimization for Search; LinkedIn Applications; Third Party Tools to increase efficiency and save time.

Prerequisites: Session participants should be proficient with managing and editing their profiles, making introductions, making connections, giving recommendations, and using the Inbox messaging system.
