The co-chairs of the committees, along with the YPLAA Chair, Chair Elect 1 & Chair Elect 2 meet monthly in order to keep the goals and objectives of YPLAA on track. The committee facilitates YPLAA events and helps brainstorm ideas for the future direction of the individual committees.
Steering Committee
Shane Wright, Isaacson & Raymond, Chair
Shane has been an Associate Attorney at Isaacson & Raymond since September 2006. He is a native of Pittsfield, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2005. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College, where he graduated in May 1994. Shane is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, and is the immediate past Chairperson and member of the Governing Council of the New Lawyers Section of the Bar Association. Shane also serves on the Professionals Division of the United Way Campaign Cabinet and sits on the Board of Directors of the Optimist Club of Lewiston/Auburn and the Building Materials Exchange. He lives in Freeport with his wife, Jennifer, and their son.
Michael Malloy, Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, PA, Chair Elect 1
Michael Malloy is an associate with the firm of Skelton, Taintor & Abbott in Auburn, Maine. He has a diverse practice that includes the areas of: Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law. General Civil Litigation, Immigration Law, Medical Malpractice, Municipal Law and Personal Injury. Michael is committed to helping local institutions solve problems and achieve their goals efficiently and economically. The son of a small business owner, he appreciates the risks and sacrifices that entrepreneurs face. As someone who chose to raise his family and practice law in Maine, he believes in the future of Maine enterprise. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, and also sits on the Central Maine Healthcare Development Committee. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and he serves as a pro bono panelist for the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project in Portland, Maine.
Tristan Coffin, Paychex, Chair Elect 2, Co-Chair, Communications
Tristan Coffin is an IT Support Specialist with Paychex Incorporated in Auburn, Maine. Though raised in Rumford, Maine, he has chosen to live in the Lewiston and Auburn area for the last 10 years. He has worked at many different business through the Lewiston Auburn area. Tristan has been focusing on a more active role in his new community and through his efforts, has become involved in the Lewiston/Auburn Art Walk project as a Volunteer and Volunteer Coordinator, helping to organize and coordinate this new initiative in the hopes of attracting a more positive opinion of the Downtown Lewiston and Auburn areas and by casting the city as a great source of the Arts and Music in Maine. Through his involvement in YPLAA, Tristan has started a new project aimed at compiling and organizing event and entertainment information on the L/A area called DowntownLA which can be found at www.facebook.com/LADowntown and also on Twitter by following @LADowntown. Tristan resides in Auburn with his Wife Shannon and their dog Harley.
Hillary Verrill, Past Chair
Hillary was born in Lewiston and returned to the area after nine years of traveling as a military brat. She earned a Bachelors of Art in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College and she is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Adult and Higher Education program at the University of Southern Maine. Hillary participated in the 2007 All-American City competition for the City of Lewiston because of her love for her city. She resides in Lewiston with her family and their dog Lego.
Communications Committee
Kelly David, Tri-County Mental Health, Co-Chair
Kelly David works for Tri-County Mental Health Services in the Development and Community Relations Department. A native Mainer, growing up in the Lewiston/Auburn area, Kelly earned a BA in Communications/Public Relations from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. In addition to her work with YPLAA Kelly is involved in fundraising efforts for the Dana Farber Institute for Cancer Research, is active in Maine Public Relations Council, and other various volunteer activities. Kelly resides in Greene with her husband and two sons.
L/A Betterment Committee
Kevin Fletcher, Coldwell Banker Millett Realty, Co-Chair
Kevin Fletcher joined Coldwell Banker Millett Realty in 1998. He specializes in investment and income producing properties, retail, office, industrial, and development opportunities throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Mr. Fletcher holds the distinguished CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. This distinction of graduate-level certification is held by less than 5% of all commercial real estate practitioners in North America. Kevin serves as a Director of the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors, and is member of the Maine Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Kevin also serves on the Steering Committee and is co-chair of the Betterment Committee for YPLAA (Young Professionals of the Lewiston Auburn Area) and sits on the Business Advocacy Committee for the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Androscoggin Land Trust.
Kelly Jaeger, Bonney Staffing Center, Co-Chair
Kelly is the Branch Manager for BONNEY Staffing Center in Lewiston. In addition to YPLAA Kelly is a member of the Chamber Education Committee, the Central Maine Human Resource Association (CMHRA), and has been a regular participant in the New Mainers and WorkReady programs which provide basic training and work readiness skills to the unemployed. Kelly was raised in the Lewiston/Auburn area and attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kelly currently resides in Auburn with her son.

Mike Dostie, J Dostie Jewelers, Co-Chair
Jen Hogan, Community Credit Union, Co-Chair
Jen is the Marketing/Business Development Director for Community Credit Union in Lewiston and Auburn. Originally from New Jersey, Jen moved to Maine during her elementary school years when her father, who was in the military, was stationed in Brunswick. Jen then went on to earn her Associates degree in Communications, with a concentration in Marketing/Advertising, from the New England School of Communications in Bangor. In addition to YPLAA, Jen serves on the Board of Directors for the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary and Maine Women’s Network. She also serves as a volunteer for the United Way of Androscoggin County, Junior Achievement and various other Credit Union committees. Jen currently resides in Turner with her husband Nick and daughter Chase.
