The co-chairs of the committees, along with the YPLAA Chair, Chair Elect 1 & Chair Elect 2 meet monthly in order to keep the goals and objectives of YPLAA on track. The committee facilitates YPLAA events and helps brainstorm ideas for the future direction of the individual committees.
Steering Committee
Shane Wright, Isaacson & Raymond, Chair
Shane has been an Associate Attorney at Isaacson & Raymond since September 2006. He is a native of Pittsfield, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine School of Law in May 2005. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College, where he graduated in May 1994. Shane is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, and is the immediate past Chairperson and member of the Governing Council of the New Lawyers Section of the Bar Association. Shane also serves on the Professionals Division of the United Way Campaign Cabinet and sits on the Board of Directors of the Optimist Club of Lewiston/Auburn and the Building Materials Exchange. He lives in Freeport with his wife, Jennifer, and their son.
Michael Malloy, Skelton, Taintor & Abbott, PA, Chair Elect 1
Michael Malloy is an associate with the firm of Skelton, Taintor & Abbott in Auburn, Maine. He has a diverse practice that includes the areas of: Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law. General Civil Litigation, Immigration Law, Medical Malpractice, Municipal Law and Personal Injury. Michael is committed to helping local institutions solve problems and achieve their goals efficiently and economically. The son of a small business owner, he appreciates the risks and sacrifices that entrepreneurs face. As someone who chose to raise his family and practice law in Maine, he believes in the future of Maine enterprise. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, and also sits on the Central Maine Healthcare Development Committee. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and he serves as a pro bono panelist for the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project in Portland, Maine.
Tristan Coffin, Chair Elect 2, Co-Chair, Communications
Though Tristan was raised in Rumford, Maine, he has chosen to live in the Lewiston and Auburn area for the last 10 years. He has worked at many different business through the Lewiston Auburn area. Tristan has been focusing on a more active role in his new community and through his efforts, has become involved in the Lewiston/Auburn Art Walk project as a Volunteer and Volunteer Coordinator, helping to organize and coordinate this new initiative in the hopes of attracting a more positive opinion of the Downtown Lewiston and Auburn areas and by casting the city as a great source of the Arts and Music in Maine. Through his involvement in YPLAA, Tristan has started a new project aimed at compiling and organizing event and entertainment information on the L/A area called DowntownLA which can be found at www.facebook.com/LADowntown and also on Twitter by following @LADowntown. Tristan resides in Auburn with his Wife Shannon and their dog Harley.
Hillary Verrill, Past Chair
Hillary was born in Lewiston and returned to the area after nine years of traveling as a military brat. She earned a Bachelors of Art in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College and she is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Adult and Higher Education program at the University of Southern Maine. Hillary participated in the 2007 All-American City competition for the City of Lewiston because of her love for her city. She resides in Lewiston with her family and their dog Lego.
Hillary Dow, Austin Associates, At-Large
Hillary is the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Austin Associates, PA, CPAs. In addition to her marketing and business development duties she also participates as a member of the executive management team of the firm. She studied communications and illustration, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Hartford Art School, and in 2006 completed the Business Administration Associates program at SNHU. She is currently enrolled in dual graduate degrees at SNHU, the Global MBA program and the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. Civic involvements include serving on the Board of Directors of Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services as President-Elect, the Auburn Business Association as President-Elect, she is appointed to the Future Forum of the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council, sits on the Advisory Council for Lewiston’s Riverfront Island Master Plan, the culture building committee for College for ME Androscoggin, and volunteers for the following YPLAA and Chamber committees: YPLAA Betterment, Communications and Steering Committees, Chamber Business Advocacy Committee, and serves as co-chair of the Chamber’s Regional Image Committee. Hillary resides in Auburn with her husband, Adam.
Kelly Jaeger, Bonney Staffing Center, At-Large
Kelly is the Branch Manager for BONNEY Staffing Center in Lewiston. In addition to YPLAA Kelly is a member of the Chamber Education Committee, the Central Maine Human Resource Association (CMHRA), and has been a regular participant in the New Mainers and WorkReady programs which provide basic training and work readiness skills to the unemployed. Kelly was raised in the Lewiston/Auburn area and attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kelly currently resides in Auburn with her son.

Kelly David, Maine Education Services, Co-Chair
Kelly David works for Maine Education Services as a Marketing Coordinator. A native Mainer, growing up in the Lewiston/Auburn area, Kelly earned a BA in Communications/Public Relations from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. In addition to her work with YPLAA Kelly is involved in fundraising efforts for the Dana Farber Institute for Cancer Research, is active in Maine Public Relations Council, and other various volunteer activities. Kelly resides in Greene with her husband and three children.

Sandra works for TD Bank as a Project Specialist, holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and Bachelors in Business and Organizational Leadership. She is a Maine native and has lived and worked in the LA area for the past 7 years and currently resided in Lisbon with her husband. Sandra is on the Board of Directors for Pathways Inc., has an overall passion for volunteerism, and enjoys being part of a growing, vibrant community.
