YPLAA is teaming up with LA Trails, a program of the Androscoggin Land Trust, to bring a National Trails Day event to Lewiston-Auburn. Beginning at 9 AM at Festival Plaza, teams of volunteers will head out to sections of the Riverwalk and riverfront in Lewiston and Auburn to trim trees, clear brush and pick up trash all while enjoying the spectacular views of the Androscoggin River.

This is a family friendly event that will include work at West Pitch Park, the Riverwalk, Bonney Park, Moulton Field, Simard-Payne (Railroad Park) and Veteran’s Park.

The event will end at noon with light refreshments at Gritty’s on the riverfront in downtown Auburn.
