This workshop will take place at Lost Valley right before the December Chamber Business After Hours from 4-4:50pm, so you can take what you learn and put it to use immediately! This is a ???get up and do??? workshop. No chairs, no tables just us ??? networking while learning how to network better.

Come to the December After Hours event early and learn how to maximize your effectiveness at any networking meeting!

Everyone is encouraged to bring; 40 business cards if you have them (and you should) even if it is a simple card with your name and email address. It would also be helpful if you brought a twenty five word description of who you are and what you do. While NO ONE will be required to stand and speak ??? everyone will be encouraged to do so.

Come prepared with good networking ideas and to have some fun! There will be two opportunities to win the ???Little Black Book of Connections??? one of the best networking books on the market!! Winners will be selected by their peers.

We will cover a ton of information and there will be a workbook and three or four hand outs for use at the seminar and as future reference. We will talk about how to network like a professional, easy going and no hassles, stress free.

We will go over a list of about thirty fun things you should not do when networking and a list of ten things you definitely should do when networking.

We will also go over a list of high quality questions. This will ensure every participant will find a few questions and conversation started that seem absolutely natural.

For those who choose to we will practice meeting and greeting in a professional session and take some time to learn how to remember people???s names (always a popular activity ??? and I will keep it non-intimidating!)
