Seminar – How To Keep An Email From Blowing Up In Your Face!
January 9th, 8-9am at the Chamber
As business people, we use emails and other correspondence to convey information, recommendations, procedures, requests and other content. In the final analysis, we generally want our readers to take action.
Tone–how we say something–is one very important method we can use to motivate our readers to do what we want. When we use proper tone, we generate the kind of emotional reaction in our readers that helps them understand and accept our messages.
Ignoring tone can produce problems, including confused or irritated readers. As a result, action can be delayed. And, business relationships can be damaged.
Our presenter will give an informative and lively presentation about tone as a key facet of business writing???and how successful business writers use this important tool.
